Country of Production: Finland
Duration of the film: 99 min.

Is there something you've always wanted to tell your family, but never dared to? Armed with a camera, Catarina tries to get her family to talk about how her parents' divorce has affected them all. Even if forty years have passed since the family fell apart in Japan, the wounds still lie open. To Catarina's great frustration, no one really seems to care about her life's project. As her attempt flops, she decides to make a film on her own terms.

Amidst all this, she falls in love with a Mexican man, and together they try to avoid repeating their parents' mistakes. As a new bonus mum, Catarina soon realises that parenting is not so simple. When she marries, she realises that marriage isn't easy either. Will she fail, just like her parents did? And what do they think of that?

Catarina isn't going to let her family escape without confrontation, so she invites them to watch the finished film. Everything is at stake. Will the film heal the family, or only make things worse?
